HEADSHOT FAQ

Do you require a deposit?

(01)

Yes, I require a $75 deposit upon booking a session with me. If for some reason you need to reschedule, this deposit can be credited towards your next session within a month’s time.

What are 'Looks'?

(02)

A look is an outfit you choose to wear to your shoot. For acting, usually looks are geared towards types you can play. The style of these outfits are dependent on if you choose to do commercial or theatrical looks (or both!) in our shoot together.

Can I send you photos of my wardrobe options?

(03)

Yes please do! I require that my clients send me pictures of their looks before our shoot so I can get everything planned out in preparation for our shoot to run smoothly. I can also help you with any questions you may have about your looks.

What is a commercial look?

(04)

Usually commercial looks tend to be brighter and aim to make you look fun, youthful and energetic. These are aimed towards television commercials and/or print jobs. I recommend bright colors (avoiding light colors/pastels) and layers are always good: flannels, cardigans, jeans jackets etc. In general, I would avoid white and black clothing unless heavily layered over.

What is a theatrical look?

(05)

Theatrical looks are aimed towards film and television work. These looks are generally more ‘serious’, but think of the roles, comedic or dramatic, you could be playing! Wearing colors that complement your skin tone and eyes are important. Jewel tones often work. I would avoid white clothing as it often doesn’t photograph well.

What other tips do you have?

(06)

Make sure your clothes are wrinkle free as I do not have a steamer on site. It’s also always good to make sure your face and lips are moisturized, bring a chapstick or something with you to reapply during the shoot.

After we shoot together, what is the process for receiving my photos?

(07)

You will receive all the photos from our session (unedited) uploaded to a digital gallery. You will then be able to choose which photos you want fully edited (amount based on package).

Do you take modeling/print digitals?

(08)

Yes! Go to the 'Lifestyle' tab under 'Photography.
